B-DACS has appointed Stuart Gemmell, our longest-serving employee, to become our first dedicated service engineer.
In his new role, Stuart will take ownership of all B-DACS’ planned maintenance visits and call outs.
He’ll work closely with you to keep your systems in good working order, organise new parts and maintain up-to-date service records.
By having a dedicated maintenance engineer in place, we can provide a better service for all our maintenance customers.
Stuart has been with B-DACS for over five and half years, having joined the company on 20th February 2009.
Then, he was in the final year of his apprenticeship but needed to find a new company to complete the qualification. He got in touch with Brian Drummond through North Glasgow College and joined B-DACS soon after.
His first two jobs were at the former Edinburgh-based advertising agency Feather Brooksbank and FMC, an American company with offices in Glasgow.
He also quickly learned how to change a compressor, something he hadn’t been given the opportunity to do with his previous employer.
Stuart progressed rapidly and completed his apprenticeship, becoming a fully-qualified air conditioning engineer.
Becoming One of B-DACS’ Most Trusted Engineers
Stuart first took the lead on a major project two years ago, installing a large VRV system for Lothian Buses.
He’s grown into one of B-DACS’ most trusted engineers and has taken the lead on numerous major installation projects.
However, Stuart has also shown particular aptitude for the service and maintenance side of the business.
With that in mind, we’re delighted that he’s agreed to become B-DACS’ dedicated service engineer.
Stuart will now oversee all our maintenance contracts and service call outs, helping us to improve the service we provide to you.
We provide air conditioning service, maintenance and repairs in Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Central Belt of Scotland. To find out more, call us on 0141 773 3355.
