B-DACS Team Meeting Visit to Daikin Training Centre

Here at B-DACS we are very passionate about involving our workforce in the running of our company as we truly believe the best ideas come from our staff. This is why every quarter we all get together for a Team Meeting and discuss company updates and reflect on what has happened over the past months and what’s coming up.

Our last meeting was on Friday the 21st of August were we even managed to arrange to have the meeting off site at the Daikin Training Centre at Glasgow Airport Business Park. This provided us with the opportunity to learn more about new products coming onto the Daikin range as well as giving our Engineers a chance to go into the training centre and test out and see the new products first hand.

Here is what one of our Engineers had to say about this visit,

“It was great to get the opportunity to see the new product range and be able to test and check the products especially getting an overview of the new BC box that supplies 4-5 units and get a run through of what is entailed in the wiring of this unit which seemed straight forward”

Not only did we get the chance to see and hear about Daikin’s new products however we got valuable time with the team to discuss recent improvements in our business and technology giving our colleagues the chance to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement and also to highlight what is working well within our business so that we can continue to provide the best level of service. It also gave us the chance to introduce the team to the forthcoming Auto Enrolment for our Workplace Pension to allow staff the chance to ask questions and prepare for key dates to look out for.

Our Team Meetings are a fantastic opportunity not only for us to share our news, however to get everyone together and reflect on what we have been involved in over the previous months which here at B-DACS always surprises us at how much we have achieved since the last meeting. It is good to give everyone that reflection time and show them just how much value everyone working at B-DACS brings to the team. We were especially delighted at this meeting to announce our recent success in achieving finalists in the Glasgow Business Awards for Family Business of the Year and Best Performing Business (11-50 Employees) categories, highlighting just how far we have come over the last year.”
