We Celebrate Launching the New B-DACS Office

Last Friday, B-DACS celebrated launching our new office in Panorama Business Village, Glasgow.

It meant a lot that so many of our customers, suppliers, friends and family were able to be there. We’ve achieved a lot in the last few years and couldn’t have come this far without you

We were also delighted that Margaret Curran, MP for Glasgow East and Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland, agreed to perform the ceremony and cut the ribbon.

In her speech, she talked about the importance of local businesses to her constituency and later described B-DACS as ‘a real East End success story’.

It was lovely to have such a prominent local figure opening our new office and speaking so highly about the business. We know her time is valuable, especially in the build-up to the referendum, so we really appreciate her coming down.

Making the Office Our Own

Up until May, we shared our office with another business but since moving we’ve made the new one entirely our own.

With help from our regular partners Worksmart and display graphics company Vision, Sign and Digital, we’ve decorated it with distinctive personal touches and images from around Glasgow.

Our logo is printed on our glass kitchen partition and we’ve captured our business ethos in a word cloud on the wall.

We also have three wall-sized photographs showing Glasgow new and old, including the SSE Hydro, the River Clyde and the Trongate on the last day that the trams were running.

Of course, we also installed four air conditioning units to ensure the temperature stays just how we like it.

What the New Office Means for Us

The move to a larger office highlights the progress we’ve made over the last few years and signals our ambition for the future.

The extra space gives us an opportunity to build even stronger links with our suppliers, partners and customers, as well as enhancing our team ethic.

On top of the extra space, we also have a purpose-built meeting room and a kitchen area. The new office undoubtedly is a better working environment and a great place to receive our regular visitors.

It’s an Exciting Time for B-DACS

Speaking about the move, director Diane Drummond said, ‘It has been an exciting two years for B-DACS as we have doubled our workforce, increased our turnover and moved into new office premises.

‘We would like to thank our staff, customers and key suppliers who have supported us through the change. It’s now time for us to embed the changes and ensure our service continues to exceed our customers’ expectations.

‘Everyone at B-DACS is delighted that Margaret Curran officially launched the new office premises.

‘We would like to thank everyone for coming along and hope they enjoyed the day as much as we did.’
