Richard Brandson once said:
“Train people well enough so they can leave, treat them well enough so that they don’t want to”
Over the past few months we have seen some of our longest serving staff members reach some unique milestones, starting with our Director Brian Drummond who has been in business trading for 16 years. B-DACS first incorporated in 2003 as a one man operation and now today we see the company has expanded to a team of 26 employees.
This year we have celebrated some very significant work anniversary milestones:
- Brian Drummond, Director – 16 years
- Linzi Gormley, Finance Manager – 8 years
- Diane Drummond, Director – 7 years
- Kevin Blacker, Senior Installation Engineer – 6 years
- Eric McDonald, Senior Installation Engineer – 5 years
- Dylan Robertson, Installation Engineer – 5 years
As part of our continued growth, this quarter has seen us add to our existing team with some new faces:
Calum McColl (MEng) joined our team in September after completing a 5 year degree at Robert Gordon University where he was awarded a Master of Engineering with Distinction having followed an approved programme in Mechanical Engineering.
Libby Barnes (LLB) joined our Maintenance team in September as Maintenance Co-ordinator. Libby brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge from her previous career path. Libby has worked within a reactive maintenance environment previously and B-DACS values the vast experience she brings to this role.
Cameron McPhail joined our Finance team in October as Finance Administrator. Cameron completed his degree at Glasgow Caledonian University where he achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy with Second Class Honours. Cameron has plans to continue his Professional Development whilst working at B-DACS.
We also have 2 additional staff joining our Installation team in late November. It is a busy time at B-DACS and we look forward to welcoming them both into their new roles.
